Seat Belt Products

Belts, assemblies, retractors, components and application-specific solutions — organised the way enquiries actually arrive. Each category page explains what it covers, where it is used, and the handful of answers we need from you before recommending anything.

What decides which product you actually need

Seat belt products do not sort neatly by price or by grade. They sort by fitment. Two belts that look identical on a shelf can behave completely differently once installed if the anchorage layout, the webbing travel or the retractor orientation is not what the position requires.

So rather than presenting a wall of near-identical listings, the categories below are organised by the kind of problem you are solving. If you can answer the four questions on the right, we can usually place your requirement within one exchange.

Q1 · The machine
Which vehicle or equipment, and which seat position within it?
Q2 · The anchorage
How many mounting points, where are they, and are they on the seat or the structure?
Q3 · The travel
How far does the seat move, and how much webbing has to pay out and return?
Q4 · The hardware
What bolt thread, stalk length, tongue profile and buckle type are you working with?

Category 01

Automotive Seat Belts

Front and rear belts for passenger cars, vans and light commercial vehicles.

The largest share of what we supply. These are the retractor-based three-point belts most people picture, plus the static lap belts still used in centre-rear and some bench positions. Selection turns on the seat position, the anchorage layout the vehicle was built with, and how much webbing travel the seat adjustment demands.

Category 02

Seat Belt Assemblies

Complete, matched units supplied ready to install.

An assembly is everything the position needs arriving together — webbing, latch tongue, buckle and stalk, anchor hardware and, where the format calls for one, the retractor. Buying the set rather than the parts removes the commonest failure in restraint work: a tongue and buckle that do not properly belong to each other.

Retractor Systems — product image showing seat belt webbing and hardware 03 / Retractor Systems
Category 03

Retractor Systems

The mechanism that stores webbing and locks when it must.

A retractor keeps webbing spooled and under light tension so the belt sits against the occupant without slack, and locks the spool when it senses sudden webbing movement or vehicle deceleration. Format, spool capacity, locking type and mounting orientation all have to match the position — a retractor fitted at the wrong angle may not sense what it was designed to sense.

Category 04

Seat Belt Components

Individual parts for repair, rebuild and maintenance work.

Not every job needs a whole assembly. Buckles, latch tongues, anchor plates, pillar loops, mounting bolts and bushes, trim covers and webbing hardware are all supplied individually — provided the replacement genuinely matches what it is replacing. Where it would not, we will say so rather than supply a near-miss.

Application-Specific Solutions — product image showing seat belt webbing and hardware 05 / Application-Specific Solutions
Category 05

Application-Specific Solutions

Seating and equipment that ordinary automotive belts do not suit.

Operator cabs, suspension seats, static workstations and specialised transport seating frequently need a different format altogether — different anchorage geometry, different webbing lengths, different release hardware, and often much harsher environmental exposure. These requirements are handled individually rather than from a shelf.

Supply & support

What comes with the parts

01

Pre-dispatch checks

Webbing, stitching, hardware and latching examined on every consignment before it is packed.

02

Written confirmation

What is being supplied is restated in writing before packing, so misunderstandings surface early.

03

Specification on file

Repeat requirements are recorded against your account so a standard belt need not be re-specified.

04

Someone to ask

Questions after delivery reach the same person who handled the enquiry, not a general queue.

Single pieces are supplied. A workshop replacing one belt on one vehicle is a normal enquiry for us, and it is handled the same way as a fleet requirement — the same fitment questions, the same pre-dispatch checks. Larger and repeat quantities are naturally easier to plan around, and we will tell you if a quantity affects availability or timing.

Usually, yes. Part numbers help but are rarely essential. Clear photographs of the existing belt, the buckle and stalk, and the mounting points — ideally with a tape measure or a ruler in frame for scale — combined with the vehicle or equipment details are normally enough to identify the format and the interface.

Where photographs leave genuine ambiguity, we will tell you what additional measurement to take rather than guess.

We are a distributor, not a manufacturer or a testing house. We do not carry out load testing, and we do not issue certification of our own. Where documentation accompanies a product from its manufacturer, we pass on whatever we actually hold — and where we hold none, we say so plainly rather than imply otherwise.

If your application has specific documentation requirements, tell us at the enquiry stage so we can confirm up front whether we are able to meet them.

We can discuss what a part is, how it is intended to interface and what to check when it arrives. We do not carry out installation, and installation should be done by a competent technician following the vehicle or equipment manufacturer's guidance for that fitment — particularly on anything involving anchorage points, torque values or seat structures.
